Compare today's wholesale prices in five cities. After commission and transport, markets are ranked by what you keep.

2 Busan 21,000 2,100,000 −147,000 1,953,000

5 Daejeon 18,600 1,860,000 −130,200 1,729,800

For comparison only. KAMIS prices are what wholesale intermediaries sell at, so the auction price paid to growers is usually lower. The commission defaults to the legal ceiling for the crop group (7% for fruit and vegetables, 2% for grains); each market sets its own rate within it.

Markets marked in red have not changed their price for several surveys or were not surveyed today; their gap may close late. See the price chart →

How it is calculated

Sales        = today's price × quantity
Commission   = sales × commission %
You keep = sales − commission − transport

Prices are the KAMIS daily wholesale intermediary prices for top-grade produce in Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Gwangju and Daejeon, the same data as the IMUN.FARM price table. Imported items are excluded.

Questions

Is this what I will actually be paid?

No. KAMIS prices are what wholesale intermediaries sell at, so auction prices paid to growers are usually lower. Use the result to compare markets, and check the auction price at your consignee before shipping.

What commission rate should I use?

The legal ceiling is 7% of the sale for fruit and vegetables and 2% for grains (rice, beans, sesame, peanuts and similar). Each market sets its own rate within that ceiling, so the actual rate may be lower.

When are prices updated?

Every morning after the latest KAMIS survey is published. KAMIS does not survey on weekends and holidays, so the previous survey is used on those days.

Why has one market shown the same price for days?

Markets with few trades sometimes update their survey price late. The calculator marks those markets so you can treat the gap with caution.
